FONDANT RECIPE
Callie this is for you. 8)
1 16 oz. pack of mini marshmallows
2 Tablespoons water
1 2lb package of powdered sugar.
Microwave water and marshmallows just until it melts (about 50 or 60 seconds)
dump the powdered sugar in the bowl and stir with a spoon as long as you can. You'll have to knead it with your hands once it gets too tough.
It is really really messy, and it takes about 5 or 10 minutes to finally get it looking like fondant, but it's so much cheaper than buying it already made. And this tastes better.
To store it: form into a ball, spread crisco over it, wrap in food wrap, seal off in a bag. When you want to use it again, just microwave it for a few seconds and knead it til it's soft. 8)
